It is categorized as a Stripology Mixer pattern as you can either use a combination of 10" squares and 2-1/2" strips or Fat Quarters. You can use the Stripology XL or Squared ruler but instructions for using regular rulers are included. The pattern comes with multiple layout options and 4 different size options: Crib, lap, full, king.
