Happy Wife Quilting is a home-based quilt shop that is located just outside of Carleton Place ON (280 Timberwood Drive, Carleton Place).  Happy Wife Quilting offers the latest notions & tools and carry lots of favourites.  With over 350 bolts of fabric, batting or interfacing, you can always find what you are looking for.  And if not, contact us and we would be happy to find it for you.   

We carry brands such as:  Creative Grids, Riley Blake Fabrics, Hobbs Bonded Fibres, Oliso, Jaybird Quilts, The Gypsy Quilter, Aurifil, Acorn Precision Piecing Products, Olfa, The Warm Company, Sew Kind of Wonderful, Robert Kaufman, Karen Kay Buckley, and Glide. 

Happy Wife Quilting also offers computerized, edge-to-edge long arm quilting with quick turnarounds.  Feel free to contact us for a quote on your pieced masterpiece waiting to be finished. 

In a separate well-lit, comfortable classroom, classes are offered to a maximum of 4 people. You will receive lots of one-on-one attention and have the ability to use tools that are provided before you decide to purchase them. 

Happy Wife Quilting loves to hit the road and set-up shop at various guild events and quilt shows. We are looking forward to seeing you at an event soon! 

Owner, Jen Swallow, started quilting while on a military posting to Kansas in 2010.  In 2013, before being posted back to Canada, Jen's husband drove a round trip of over 2800 kilometers to purchase her first longarm for her.  Happy Wife, I guess so!  Jen loves to help her customers find that perfect fabric and enjoys the chance to teach and sew with her quiltie friends.  And when she is not working, you can find her driving her 3 teenagers all over the countryside or camping with friends and family.
