Have you ever wanted to make a quilt but don't know where to start?  Or maybe you would like to brush up on your techniques?  Come join me as I walk you through, start to finish, creating a quilt in 5 sessions!

You will learn about quilting fabric, necessary tools, cutting with a rotary cutter, measuring, sewing with a 1/4" seam, pressing, piecing the quilt, attaching borders, preparing your sandwich for quilting, and finishing with a double-fold binding.  

Yellow Brick Road is the quilt we will make.  It is a wonderful pattern because there are 6 different quilt sizes to choose from and it uses fat quarters, which are a common quilter's cut of fabric.

You bring the fabric, thread, pattern and sewing machine and I supply all other necessary tools but none of that is necessary until the second class.

Class size is limited to 4 people.
